I grew up at Shaker Village in New Gloucester, Maine I was one of the last Shaker Girls to live in the community I learned all my skills at the Village I have been sewing for over 50 years I am married, I have two children, two grandchildren and 1 great grandchild I decided to get into quilting when my husband became ill and could not work anymore I love my art and don't consider it work or a job, just plain fun I am very particular about how my quilts look and extremely fussy I take great pride in what I produce and stand behind each piece with a full guarantee
