Welcome to my painting and photography. Bonnie and I have been actively showing for the past two seasons and would love to meet you in person. Look for Bonnie's jewelry on our primary trAloola, Our Three Arts. I find doing the lapidary work to be a nice compliment to my painting. Lapidary is subtractive while painting is additive, both are very rich experiences for the visual and kinesthetic person that I am.
I have been painting for over 30 years. I have tried several painting media but my favorite remains acrylics. While the color trends of acrylics make it a challenging media I love the flexibility it affords me. I can work with techniques from both watercolors and oils in a mixture that fits. My photography comes from my efforts to capture a moment or a subject that can't completely be dedicated to my minds eye. Sometimes the photos are just too good not to print on their own accord. All of my prints are of archival quality that should with proper care become heirlooms on their own accord.
