Thank you for your interest in my work. A large percentage of my photos are shot on film, 35mm, 120mm, and 4x5 with a small percentage being digital. I primarily use a Canon Elan 7e 35mm film camera, a 54 year old Ricoh twin reflex 120mm film camera, and a 65 year old 4x5 graflex sheet film camera (the latter two handed down from my father). I do all of my own computer processing; film scanning, limited photoshop work, and printing. I use quality printing papers; Canon (by Hahnemuhle), Hahnemuhle, Legion, MOAB, and Museo. My printing is presently done on a Canon Pro i9500 printer using archival LUCIA ink. I also do all of my own matting and framing. I use quality archival mat board, cutting all of my own mats. In some of my matting schemes I utilize garden papers imported from Thailand. These are handmade 100% KOZO papers incorporating elements from the garden and wild grasses. My wood suppliers for my handmade frames are small mills, one from the northwoods of Wisconsin and the other in a small farming community in northern Illinois. These mills supply my with a variety of wood; Alder, Birch, Butternut, Cherry, Maple, Spaulted Maple, Red Elm, 1/4 sawn Sycamore, and Pine. The northern Wisconsin mill has also given me access to their reclaimed wood which at this time is from a 123 year old grainery in Superior, Wisconsin. This Reclaimed wood is Eastern Yellow Pine and has developed a lot of character over 123 years and make very nice rustic frames.
