My name is Elizabeth.  Me and my studio are located in Burlington, VT on the shores of the enchanting and historic Lake Champlain.  I have created and designed jewelry in earnest for 5 years - and I am genuinely passionate about it. I use vintage, antique and contemporary glass beads, buttons and special finds (lockets, keys, pearls, rare glass and filigree buttons, repurposed leather and earrings, etc...) to design couture - yet wearable - decorations for women.  My favorite kind of design is the ones that you and I tailor to your needs.

The notion of decorating and ornamenting ourselves goes back to the dawn of history when humanity recognized that we have the ability to interpret the beauty we see in nature and also to remind ourselves and others of special places, people and events.  When jewelry does this it finds the connection between what we see as beauty and how we feel as beautiful.  Jewelry can also help to lend comfort to loss and to add verve to life.  It has for me.

I love bright colors, vintage chains and buttons of all kinds.  I often include a locket on necklaces and bracelets - I like giving you the opportunity to personalize it. My pieces range from subtle to overt - with the emphasis being on creating high quality, thoughtfully designed artisan jewelry. I am happy to work with you to ensure proper sizing...just contact me.

 What is Sweetest...brass...earrings

"As bees gather honey, so we collect what is sweetest of all things, and we build" ~ Rilke Raw brass charms - honeybee and magnolia, sturdy and solid - are paired with vintage, round honey swirled resin beads in lightest, warm yellow. These earrings hang about two inches from brass earwires. Life is better decorated.

a small nest (an inch across) made of light gauge, oxidized copper wire and three creamy freshwater pearls. (Can be made into a ring or a necklace. If a ring, it will be wired with copper 18g wire - please remember to leave ring option and size in notes to seller)). As a necklace it will hang from a copper chain - as shown. 16.5 inches would be my preference - tell me yours if different. this nest was naturally oxidized using the eggs from my organic flock of city dwelling hens...ironic, hmm?

These Czech glass puffed lentil brocade beads are so lovely -and a little macho. They are hung on naturally oxidized 20g sterling silver wire - I use eggs from my organic flock of city dwelling laying hens to oxidize my sterling...naturally. These beads are a grapefruit orange glowing pink. Earrings hang about 1.5 inches. I made a pair for myself. These are for you. Don't you think you'll need something pretty to wear when you change the carburetor on that new Ducati? Life is better decorated.

 Twinkle Studs...Earrings

These tiny brass "puffed" filigree, antique twinkle (refers to the reflective face beneath the filigree) buttons measure just under a half an inch across. I have wired them into studs with gold-filled wire (can be done in sterling silver...contact me). In their former lives these probably adorned cuffs on a woman's coat...I wonder what they will whisper in your ear? I cannot tell you what they said to me.... Life is Better Decorated.

These vintage finds necklaces are each one of a kind and so much fun for me to make. Each one is made with a vintage genuine skeleton key, a brass frame, freshwater pearls and a vintage bras circle locket. Each is one of a kind - like us.
