After a long career in Silicon Valley, I've decided to pursue my passions for design and textiles. I scour estate sales, yard sales and thrift stores for recycled and vintage textiles, costume jewelry and buttons, tablecloths, curtains and clothing, which I use to create my original designs.
I design and create a line of original aprons, using these recycled textiles and accessories. These aprons are unique and come in both full and half styles; they are machine washable. I've designed short aprons with recycled denim waistbands and pockets, a more formal retro style pieced together from recycled skirts and blouses, with ruffles and lace harvested from a forgotten sewing basket. My full aprons were patterned after a vintage apron I found at an estate sale.
I also have a line of 100% recycled, felted wool hats made from thrifted sweaters; cloches and caps, felted hat pins and floral felted wool flower corsages. I've also got some fabulous felted wool purses and fingerless gloves.
I think your clothes should have a past as interesting as your own!
